Rather immaterial to the debate don't you think? It is about plans for Iraq not Japan's desires.

And therein lies the problem. They don't want Saddam, but nor do they want US. And you may think that if they've been willing to live with Saddam for so long, then they will appreciate having Americans run the show if it improves their lives...but you could not have been more wrong...but give it time and you will see.
