Carl Rove is a master at this. As the age's greatest malevolent Machiavellian, Rove's been able to use the media, especially the right wing hate-radio commentators, to castigate the Democrats and demonize the anti-war celebrities and activists. And the public, without much ability to think at all, let alone critically, lap this verbal sewage up as pearls before swine.

I may actually have to listen to that fascist windbag Rush Limbaugh tomorrow just to guffaw at his ridiculing of the Oscar ceremonies. Where George Bush seemed to have few (if any) supporters.
