...in your World, I guess it would be far better to have illegal foreign terrorists cross our borders without intervention, be able to travel without check via our transportation system, use our banking/financial system without intervention to fund terrorism, or War; or to use our communication system freely without monitoring to further their cause etc ?
Hyperbole, gross exaggeration and general hysteria do not befit you, or your arguements.
Thankfully in a world of Utopian Idealists, Liberal Dilusionists and those whose self-loathing is only surpassed by their hatred of their own Country; that the vast majority choose to live and act in reality...and make the difficult and painfull choices to preserve Democracy & Freedom...and if during a Time of War, we are asked to temporarially give up "some inconsequential" freedoms, to preserve much larger Freedoms... so be it.
Freedom is not without cost, nor is it a one-way street. |
