Yup but it doesn't say anything about shareholders. In fact, the company will probably continue and management will continue to get salaries and perks. Creditors will get paid. Unfortunately, this system is in my opinion legalized rape of shareholders by managements.

I hate to say it but you may even find that management will get new options and perks that track what they had before the bankruptcy. They will be working for a new entity.
