I must confess, I did not write that proposal!! I can say being that I do indeed have 4 children, as I was reading it, I was thinking, OMG they are telling my life story!!!
On some of those things, I had children induced flashbacks while reading that. Other things like "but given to tantrums over every minor transgression" brought back memories of a time as recent as yesterday.
Admittedly though, I never thought of making and Indian hut out of a tortilla. I am going to keep that in mind, for the next two kids, when it is the night before the assignment is due. Assigned at least one week earlier, but it is now the night before. It's an hour before bedtime and I hear, "but Mom, I have to go to the store and get some stuff to make an "indian hut," and it's due tomorrow. I think it was the same scenario when the model brain was due. With that assignment, forget the tortilla, it's time to use slightly cooked ramen noodle soup!! |
