I think that person should watch footage of it til she wretches.

Freudian slip? <g>

I do feel we're on weak ground in complaining about film of POW's, given the much-filmed treatment of the Guantanamo detainees - although strangely I didn't see much regret expressed here from those seeming so shocked now. Saddam is easily unpleasant enough to do worse, too... hopefully he won't.

On a separate issue, though, Saddam's "fedayeen" do seem to be clearly breaking Geneva conventions themselves by mixing with civilians and attacking while not uniformed... not that I expect him to be bothered - since the Moron cabal have made it clear he's dead whatever - but it makes it so much more dangerous for our troops. Hopefully our mysterious SO guys aren't setting such precedents already.

Plus, if even 1% of the Iraqis are sufficiently motivated to join such resistance - well, remember the Irish 'Bloody Sunday'? 16 IRA supporters shot dead on rally, still recruiting new terrorists 20 years later... that's with 0.1% support. That'd be a Bloody Picnic.
