Jim.. I couldnt agree more.. But if in fact that is part of the reason for the war, as you and others might conclude, to have a foothold in the middle east, a base of operation if you will, then just admit it. Dont wave your flag and preach that this war has anyting what so ever to do with freeing Iraqi's.. And therefore is a justifiable war because we're being the nice guys and freeing those poor Iraqi people as some (actually its only one guy who's buying the propaganda) on this thread might think..
