Bush to meet Greenspan, econ aides
Monday March 24, 11:16 am ET

WASHINGTON, March 24 (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush is to meet Federal Reserve
Chairman Alan Greenspan and top economic aides on Monday ahead of a 2 p.m. (1900 GMT) meeting
of his National Economic Council, White House spokeswoman Claire Buchan said.
Buchan also told Reuters that Greenspan was at the White House earlier on Monday to meet with
members of Bush's economic team but Bush was not present. She gave few details about the
afternoon meeting, other than to say "they'll be talking about the current state of the economy."

Besides Greenspan and Bush, Treasury Secretary John Snow and Stephen Friedman (News), director
of Bush's National Economic Council, were to take part in the afternoon meeting before the NEC
meets, Buchan said.
