if peasants are going to shoot down apache helicopters then I have to agree with you. Forget the human shield argument. I think Franks has to either level the place with those daisy cutter bombs (?) and thus take a huge number of civilian casualties, or fall back with the ground troops and resume a lengthy air campaign before going back in with a presumably weakened iraq, or we need to pull out totally and forget this war. My guess is some of the US war protests calm down because the iraqis are not a group of innocent civilians, its just another somalia we have here. Too bad.
