I remember everyone bailing out of sable island ,, sun sold out to the canadian gov. mobil hung in there but most of the others bailed out.. seems like Canada made the right move on Sable Island. When it was being drilled everyone thought it was a loser. Prices would never rise to break even... I think the gov. kept it active to keep jobs in the area.
