Two words for you Bush-Enron, don't defend the crooks. McAuliffe got the same free Global Crossing stock Bush Sr. got for making one speech for them. That's not really corruption just a major perk. But Enron and Bush were miles beyond that in terms of collusions and corruption. GW Bush turned a blind eye to Enron (and other Bushies) 100 billion ripoff of Americans during their phony energy crisis, enough to pay for this entire war (so Bushies claim though I think it will cost more) The first thing the GOP congress did after November was to make all gifts from lobbyists legal and not to require any reporting of them.
