Don't get excited. This isn't going to decide the course of the war. I am not excited and never said Iraq will defeat the US. We are talking about whether or not US & UK soldiers received a warm welcome from most Iraqis, which was your original assertion. In reply, I posted a Financial Times article that paints a very different picture, indeed - that Iraqis are hostile to the invaders (surprise), that it looks like Northern Ireland, that Americans have underestimated the resistance. My question was, and still is, how you justify ignoring this FT article, just because it challenges your preconceived convictions - that Iraqis are oh so happy they are being invaded by the US.
