Ted Re... However, there were many people trying to wave him off, and even after she was hurt, he made no attempt to help her. When you are driving a dozer, usually you concentrate upon looking at the bottom outside edge of the blade, not at the crowds. Also, the crowds were probably waving all day, and you tend to ignore them after awhile. As far as helping her, he probably didn't want to go down into the crowd, and there were others there to help her.
