Clinton was cleared of all charges after the biggest witch hunt in political history. He was attacked by right-wing groups posing a legit lawsuit plaintiffs, funded in part by Koch Oil, which also funds the Cato Group. They would pay anyone who would step foreward with any charge. CLinton had no choice but to hire lawyers and defend himself. Democrats have done nothing of the sort against Bush, nor did they do anything like this against previous GOP presidents. It was shameful what the right did in their desperation to somehow bring our most successful president down. Clinton left a projected 5 trillion surplus. He paid down much of our debt. He did not neglect the military. The huge Cold War Reagan military budget was first cut by Bush Sr. and further cuts were common sense, bipartisan-approved, base closings etc. Our troops had what they needed. Post Cold War ops we didn't need anymore. The world was at peace, zero unemployment and even right-wingers did great. Please get your history straight.
