I live in the country California.

We, in this country, have conventional weapons. Once upon a time, an invader launched powerful rockets and explosives at our country, from thousands of miles away. We couldn't see the enemy as they laid waste to our country.

However, they also, later, conducted a ground war. When they landed on our shores, I did the brave thing and wore a uniform, such that they could identify me, readily, as an individual who was willing to defend my country. Moreover, I didn't take advantage of buildings and other protection. I stood out in the open, in my uniform, so that I could be identified as a defender with ease.

Yup, yup, that's what I did. I made it easy for them to shoot me, but I was brave. Next time, I'll be even more brave, and wear a white uniform with a target painted on it. That way, I'll assure that few of the other SURVIVING residents who choose not to defend our country are not harmed. Yup, yup, that's what I'll do.

And the invaders will call me brave. They'll say that I fought with courage. Yup, yup, those who launched powerful weapons, anonymously from long distances, will call be brave.
