More likely that we are according different weights to specific factors involved, i think, rather than that 'we view logic differently' .... i can recognise varying importance to each of the arguments you pose in favour of war-now, some of them do have considerable weight, sure ..... at the same time, and while you have not yet admitted so, i suspect that you see weight in my central argument, that it is not in the interests of the species that we be entirely controlled by any bunch in Washington, much less the current one .... only our weightings are different, probably, you do not see the extremity of danger presented down the road in defaulting all power to a single national capital
I would not default it to the UN either, not in the way that organisation is currently constituted ... as i typed upthread .... but it should be apparent to most that there is such a thing as a reasonable quorum of democracies, and that the very idea of such an animal being created is opposed strongly by the neocons who control the US right now .... as evidenced by their actions and statements all the way through this, they will permit no check on their power
This is a position that must be opposed ... they will succeed in uniting the world, all right - against them |
