Hi energyplay,

Yes, the war rages on now for an as yet unknown number of days, weeks, months or years. But eventually it will end. All wars eventually end.

The boycotts may intensify and spread to other regions, other products. The war will come to an end, but J6P will remember the boycotts.

Let's guess as to how long it will take for J6P to boycott European products or Asian products. When the war ends, let's see whose memory is longer. Let's see which region depends more on exports to the other's country.

Boycotts always seem to find a way to backfire on those who organize them, sort of like the laws of unintended consequences.

My guess is that this war will be no different. The war will end, but unintended consequences, both from the war and from the boycotts, will continue to gain mass...
