I would be happy to stand corrected Brian if in fact you believe Christ rose in the same body that was crucified, then I applaud you for that. Even though many who would hold the doctrinal statement you quoted and which I responded to, do in fact deny it.

It's clear from your question that you deny Christ is "still in that physical body even now" without a shred of biblical support. The onus is clearly on you to show the how when and why Christ disposed of His body that you admit was raised, but now deny He has. Presumably you deny this is in order to accommodate your pet theory that Christ returned in 70 A.D., only nobody noticed. You also seem to deny that when a Christian dies today that their body awaits a physical resurrection which is the clear promise of numerous Scriptures.

My main concern is that you are actively promoting false doctrine concerning the return of Christ and the nature of the resurrection. Those are serious issues indeed.
