It's not Uncle Sam, or America, it's just Bush and his inner circle. They happen to control our country for 20 more months though. However moderates in both parties can put a stop to these types of wars if they want to. Much better to try diplomacy-with-intimidation next time. But Bush had it in for Saddam, he wants the oil and it was political clever in order to suck the oxygen out of discussions of any other issue. All other issues besides military and security, Bush loses on in this country.
