I agree, though lefty extremists are usually passivists, at least the ones I've met. During the Vietnam era they started becoming dangerous, but rarely anymore. Greens for instance are usually extreme pacifists. They didn't even believe in us attacking the Taliban. That's where I have a big problem with them.

Right-wing extremists do things like start militias and stock up on automatic weapons and explosives. That's obviously more troublesome, as we found out during the Clinton era. Hard to believe the Rush Limbaugh types were defending those right-wing terrorists. To me, what's the diff? They kill innocent people, they're "evil". Arabs or white male Army vets like McVeigh. Those guys are walking advertisements for capital punishment.
