Saw this Business Brief in today's Globe: SLI reaches agreement with creditors SLI Inc., the maker of miniature lighting for car instrument panels that filed for bankruptcy protection in September, said it has reached an agreement with lenders and creditors to emerge from Chapter 11. A group of investors that includes DDJ Capital Management has agreed to acquire nearly all of the company's secured debt, SLI said. Canton-based SLI filed for Chapter 11 protection last year amid slumping sales and falling prices. (Bloomberg) According to Reuters, the company does not expect there will be any recovery for shareholders: biz.yahoo.com
