Dan, Thanks for the reply. On fairmark message board also, I read that, one of the criteria for 1256 inclusion, is cash settlement.

I didn't know the difference between DIA and DJX. Now it is clear...

fwiw... In my Google search I came across an old article (12/03/2000), about 1256 inclusion. It is a general article, but a small part is devoted to 1256.
