I figured that much. The idea is that Checkfree be the "UMBRELLA" organization which could bring all these wonderful banks a can't miss hit location on the web, thru the Search Provider.
On so many of these seach providers you can customize your CHANNELS of interest, NEWS, FINANCE-Portfolio, TRAVEL... The next locical step is to offer the ability to allow customization of or other sites if interest, SHOPPING, BANKING, BROKERAGE...more and more and more.
So that the end user ends up with an electronic HOME PAGE which represents his life-style and habits. And access to a financial institution is not a habit, but part of all our life-styles. And little ole Checkfree could work on creating this CHANNEL on behalf of the financial institutions they represent, giving all institutions tremendus exposure on the WEB thru a SECURE CHANNEL of a SEARCH PROVIDER.
I feel, that if the don't do it, someone else will. Mark my words.
