The brightest minds in China have been studying in the US for years. The students that have stayed in the US have made a tremendous impact on their chosen fields. The trend is starting to change. Students and trained engineers, doctors, etc have started seeing opportunities in China and are going back. The Chinese economy is entering an explosive, interesting time and will give US engineering a run for its' money. The kick start in technology is being fueled by US companies that are setting up development facilities there to take advantage of the massive discount in engineering costs.
