Dishonest Abe strikes again! He states:
The centuries-old charge of deicide against Jews, simply put, that "the Jews killed Christ," has been ... unequivocally rejected by the Roman Catholic Church in the 1965 Vatican proclamation, "Nostra Aetate."
So, I look up the Nostra Aetate, and here is the text:
True,the Jewish authorities and those who followed their lead pressed for the death of Christ; still, what happened in His passion cannot be charged against all the Jews, without distinction, then alive, nor against the Jews of today.

In other words, the edict was saying that Jews DID kill Christ, but modern day Jews should not be punished for the crime of their forefathers.
