Mesopotamia was smaller then, Babylon much closer to the head of the gulf, which gets filled in a little more each year by sedimentation ..... the civilisations along the Nile and the Indus valley are thought now by many to have arisen quite separately, since they had striking differences .... can't recall what they were, but there was little similarity, it is said ..... distinct genetics in grains grown, for one, it shows separate origins .... and the americanos got here long before advent of agriculture i think, development here was quite distinct as well ..... first two notable differences - no wheel here at all, and only three domesticated animals, none of which was native to Eurasia .... ever ask yourself why the chihuahua was bred to be hairless, or from where came the original expression 'hot dog'?
I cannot get interested in stocks lately, just holding them .... real life dominates, family coming again in a few hours, work stuff all through, stocks are just sitting there waiting for the next leg in the yeller dawg anyway, so who cares ... it is spring now, and that matters .... online time becomes diversion only, so hey, politics, what could be more diverting than that ... you might consider coming over to the free-for-all, nobody there really bites, no matter how much you ask them to
