I may get corrected on this, but I think the only time they are required to buy shares is when they first come on board as directors. At least, this seems to be a common practice. Nope, I think they bought because it looked cheap. I still think it will be some time before we get news that will really drive the stock, but so far, recent insider buys here and elsewhere in biotech are looking pretty smart (PDGM is another example).
