FWIW, I held none of those stocks. I now own a very small amount of CSCO, mostly for the annual report.

I agree that a successful investor, looking forward, should look at the failures of the past.

Gorilla Gaming is an investment strategy that goes for the grand slam home runs, if you can identify the gorilla early enough. Those with the most home runs usually also have the most strikeouts. So it is with baseball, so it is with Gorilla Gaming as practiced on this thread. It is not surprising that there have been so many losers.

We must also remember that a companies performance and its stock price are not the same thing. GG concentrates on the former, not the latter. Not recognizing this was the downfall of many.

I stopped following this thread for years because it lacked the hard core analysis I wanted, and mostly followed already well known, established companies rather than lesser known companies that are on there way to greatness. The few times I tried to identify a company that was not already on the G&K list I received zero replies.

Perhaps we can get back to the original concept of this thread, identifiying potential gorillas and kings BEFORE they become household names. Now could be a great time to buy some of these companies.

Any nominations?
