God is great. All power to the victor. May the best turban win. Allah is merciful. Don't buy on credit. Do not park in rush hour traffic lanes. Do you know what I think military people have missed for decades, and it just goes to show you how completely numbskull otherwise intelligent people can be? Military aircraft have no reverse. Go figure. Somebody was just not thinking. If you get in a jam with a jet fighter, or overshoot, you cannot back up. What a joke. It's high time someone with an ounce of brains took over that whole shooting match. They simply ain't going to get anywhere the way they are going. I have one more related complaint while we are on the subject. It appears that Canada will soon embrace a decriminalization of Marijuana, such that one will only get a ticket for smoking grass. I think that is a terrible idea. For one thing, once every Tom, Dick and Harry thinks they can get away with it, the quality of drugs will decline seriously and with great rapidity. Within a short time you will be able to puff all day on bags of the stuff, and get no more out of it than drinking a pint of American Beer. Once it is no longer the cachet of the adroit and inventive criminal specialist, the cultivation of weedoramus will become the careless pastime of the negligent and unaware masses. All pride in work will be gone, and it will soon reveal itself in the exclusive availability of truckloads vegetable matter useless for anything but the creation of an impenetrable and decidely un-narcotic haze.
