Also, it would seem that there would be a lot of environmental problems with this in the US. North Carolina has a number of ranges where munitions of this type are used in practice rounds. Also, here in Pa, the military uses Fort Indiantown Gap for Tank maneuvers...never heard of any problems here with it. My military experience includes service with an armored unit....never heard of effects on US troops.

One really needs to dig into some of these claims.
