Thus far the major complaint has been lack of proof.

Since there was no proof, we couldn't even get to the stage of the debate of what to do if he had a smattering of chemical weapons left over from when he was our good friend and ally.

Furthermore, since Bush invaded before finding anything remotely resembling evidence of chemical weapons, this establishes conclusively that chemical weapons were not a pretext for the invasion.

Finally, if Saddam's little arsenal is justification for an invasion, then the U.S. would be in big trouble.
