First of all, there is a big difference between nukes and the other stuff. Bio/chem stuff is not that dangerous. Nukes are. And nukes are the area where we had zero evidence, and in fact zero reason to believe he had anything. As for Bio/chem, we had reason to think he might have some leftovers. Most of the anti-war people (e.g. Scott Ritter), stated that he probably had some of this stuff, and we should let the inspectors look for it.

So why do you think we're there?

Oil, power, Israeli lobby - off the top of my head.
