Analysts Acknowledge PeopleSoft as a Leader in Enterprise Performance Management

AMR Research and META Group Note the Strength of PeopleSoft's Integrated Performance Management Solutions
PLEASANTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 26, 2003-- PeopleSoft Inc. (Nasdaq:PSFT - News) today announced that SPEX, a META Group service, and AMR Research have acknowledged PeopleSoft's Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) suite as a leader among performance management solution providers. The recently published reports note the strength of PeopleSoft's comprehensive performance management solution, which is integrated across PeopleSoft's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.

In the SPEX Business Performance Management (BPM) software evaluation published in March, PeopleSoft's Enterprise Performance Management suite received SPEXmark ratings of "excellent" in the functionality, technology and overall categories. PeopleSoft also received high scores in usability and market strength. The SPEX product evaluation noted that PeopleSoft's key strengths included its technology/architecture, intuitive interface, strong scorecarding functionality and Global Consolidations module. The report also notes the importance of PeopleSoft's ability to facilitate closed-loop performance management to address large, complex, multinational organizations.
