Iraq to Export Oil Within Three Months, U.K. Commander Says By James Cordahi Doha, Qatar, March 27 (Bloomberg) -- Iraq, the world's second- largest holder of oil reserves, will be exporting oil within three months, a U.K. military spokesman said at a press briefing in Qatar. Three of the nine wells Iraqi forces exploded while retreating from the country's largest oil field, Rumaila, are out, Air-Marshall Brian Burridge said. The briefing at Anglo-American headquarters in Qatar was aired on British Broadcasting Corp. It will cost about $1 billion to get the field pumping at full capacity of 1.8 million barrels a day, Burridge said.
