You'd rather freeze 40 million U.S. children who rely on oil to heat their homes.
Well, if they need oil, then the US children (as well as their parents) should learn to live with smaller cars than what would pass for small cottages in Europe, develop alternative energy sources (like France, who gets 80% of its energy needs from nuclear power plants), and be a little more conscious of their energy consumption. Rather than invading other countries and killing their people just because, uh, THEY WANT OIL.

One of us is a barbarian who has not developed beyond "Ugh. I want oil. I will kill to get oil", and that ain't me.
I don't know how you can live with yourself, advocating death for Iraqis so your people can have easier access to a commodity.
