My fear is that there are some folks here in NY who are fed up and will try to give some reality to the term, die in

It gets to me also. I take solace in the knowledge that this is really going to marginalize the Dems in the next election. Could almost lead to a breakup of the Party. They will be lucky to hold 40 Senate seats when this is over. And the Bush reelection will be a "Tiger Woods" parade.

The Dixie Chicks are looking for a hideout.
