Hillary Clinton replaced him in the senate. My first thought was that was obscene. Even Moynihan was initially dismayed but indicated later on that she had earned his respect. So far she has been a damn good senator and i think she views herself as being in his tradition. As a senator, she is far different than she was as first lady. There has been a profound change. I may even consider supporting her next time around. Perhaps a neo-lib in the making?? Mike
