Yes, but I don't think US can claim the moral grounds and say our invasion of Iraq has anything to do with genocide, when members of this same administration defeated the prevention of genocide act and increased their trade with Saddam. I only brought it up because you seem to think that somehow there is a humanitarian side to this war.

As to the greater issue of resistance to US, it is the inevitable response to our stance. That virtually everyone agrees that Saddam is a brutal dictator and wishes him gone, and yet at the same time most people are opposing US in this conflict, should make it clear how wrong our foreign policy is.

All politics aside, everyone needs to ask this question from themselves: Do I believe in peace.

This is a very important question. I am not asking if you support this war. Or whether or not you think past actions during cold war were justified. Or are you Bush lover or a Bush hater. None of that matters to this critical question. The question comes down to do you believe that a prosperous world in peace is possible and in our interest, or do you think that peace is just a period to build up strength till the next war.

If your answer is yes. If you think that it is possible to at least have a truce in the world and solve problems through none violence, then you need to ask yourself how you can make it happen.

And if your answer is no. That is you don't think it is possible for nations to cooperate towards solutions and that there will always be someone who prefers armed robbery (that is really what war is) to honest work. And that this criminal faction is large enough to dominate the world events.

And I am all ears to hear from both sides.
