Bush and Blair discussing Iraq this morning, paraphrasing: "The war will last as long a it takes to win" I'm a bit too young to remember explicitly, but does that sound a bit like the rhetoric from the beginning of the Vietnam war too? I sure hope not. I tell ya, I know Hussein needs to be taken out But more and more I'm wishin we'd not been in such a hurry to go in there. Aside from human causalities This is going to cost us a bundle of money. Money, IMO that could and perhaps should be spent elsewhere. Further, when this whole thing is finally over, and we start the restructuring of Iraq, we god damn better not cut any sweet deals with France, Russia, Germany, China Or any other countries that have come out and public criticized or worse, outright condemned us. fuck 'em, it's time to play hard ball with those jack offs. Especially if Hussein starts to use any WMD he supposedly doesn't have.
