Why don't we see Iraqi Shias (an admittedly oppressed lot) revolt in larger numbers - especially, when we are supposed to have got at least some cities under control.

Errr... Last I checked there was a war going on.

With respect to shock and awe not delivered--It wasn't
delivered to you.

With respect to fighting in other parts of the country.
1.) These are nothing but a bunch of thugs who know that when things turn around in Iraq their collective butts are going to be in a sling.

2.) The fights in my opinion further my belief that the Baath regime is intimidating it's own people by occupying schools, hospitals etc in an effort to terrorize people.

I am going to be incredibly bold and submit that there is a collective strategy amongst the Iraqi's Baath Party, French and Russian governments, to draw out this war at the expense of the Iraqi people.

I offer this question in proof: Who in their right mind would sell a GPS jammer to Iraq? That is the equivalent of bombing the Iraqi people OR legitimizing Sadaam's regime, OR, endorsing the Iraqi military, in a war that they cannot win.

All this to in an effort to muddy the reputation of the U.S. and its allies.
