Unfortunately that turned into quite the muddled hackneyed affair, no small thanks to the Brittish, and yes the subsequent interference for many years afterwards. OTOH So they are having this debate.. a form of Islamic reformation movement, which is likely to be rather bloody and contentious. (the christian reformation certainly was). Yes I tend to agree but tribal attitudes etc play a significant role still. We see Muslims but their is such a hodgepodge of ethnic and tribal hatred underpinning the whole issue.
