To clear up gap study....again

A greater than 50% gap of previous day's range would be a sell at open if gapping down. You would then look for a 1% move lower before offsetting.

Another caveat to the rule that I have recenetly researched:

86% of all 1% and lower gaps fill within the first hour.

68% of all 1-2% gaps fill within first hour

If a gap is not filled within the first hour then only 4% fill thereafter on up into the day.

The best time to enter a gap counter movement if 9:36 and most gaps fill by 10am.
