I still don't understand how you make the distinction between the two. The Bible contains passages that seemingly advocate killing your enemies, including women and children. I could easily interpret that as a command from the Christian God to go forth and kill the heathen. In fact, throughout history, Christians took that as instruction to justify genocide. How is that different from the Koran? Because of the tense of the passages? Don't Christians live by the Bible? Sounds like one of those Clintonesque arguments you hate so much...

Sounds like convenient logic to me.
