Doug appeared to be troubled by the fact that Iraqi soldiers are dying.

Does anyone here not find it troubling that Iraqi troops are doing their best to endanger civilians by dressing as civilians, mingling with civilians, holing up in hospitals, pretending to surrender and then pulling out weapons and ambushing our troops... The goal, of course, is to goad our troops into being less cautions about causing civilians harm than they have. If that happens, there will of course be a hue and cry about how our troops are killing civilians indiscriminately. It's unfortunate that blame is not placed where it belongs, on the Iraqi regime that puts little or no value on the lives of its citizens.
