jw: Who came up with 'the bright idea' of invading Iraq...? The cost in terms of blood and treasure will be SO HIGH in order to come close to achieving 'our objectives.'....Did we ever consider having the CIA use offshore accounts and hire THE BEST mercenaries in the world to take out Saddam and his regime -- who cares if it would cost $4-5 Billion (think of the savings for our country if this was done right and done quietly)...We could then work with the U.N. to help stabilize Iraq and provide a more legitimate transition to a new government...this of course would be viewed more positively in the Arab World too.

It's an absolute joke that our leaders only put a $25 million bounty on Bin Laden's head -- he's too dangerous for that amount of pocket change...He and his Al Qaeda organization have cost our country well over $100 Billion in economic losses...IMO, the CIA should employ the same technique to go after him --> SPEND THE BIG BUCKS and very quietly hire world class mercenaries to take out Bin Laden and the rest of his management team...It's much better to outsource this type of operation...who cares if it costs $4-5 Billion...It should be done...Wars are too painful for all stakeholders (especially the innocent civilians)....We should STOP invading countries with a big military force...that just doesn't make any sense...JMHO.
