To all concerned with MACR's Q1 results.

Looking at their revenue statement, they could have reported a nice profit if they had spent the same amount on R&D and Sales & Marketing than the June 1996 period. They would have realized a nice profit of $2'147'000.

That is to say that people don't compare apples to apples. O.K. the revenues are down from the same period last year, but it is way up from last quarter!...

PS: From the increased R&D spendings, one can see an effort to improve products and come up with new ones. This is an important long term factor. The company wants to remain a major player in its field.
