for something like this, I try to put it at a scale that I can really comprehend. If someone broke into my house and threatened me and my family, I wouldn't hesitate to fight dirty. I'd pretend that I was giving up and then attack when he got close enough. I would also know that I would only have one opportunity to use that tactic.

Another analogy would be if I had someone who was terrorizing me and my family. If I found out who it was or where they lived and then called the cops, and if the cops did nothing. I wouldn't hesitate to take preemptive actions to make sure that they stopped. And I wouldn't feel one bit of remorse or be bothered that the cops thought that I did something wrong.
