The logic on oil is weak.
At least $70 billion for the war, and what
are going to get for it $, I doubt enough to offset the costs.
I hope the UN gets involved after the war to help pay for reconstruction.
If they wanted war for oil, why not attack Saudi Arabia,
who be an 1000% easier target, and justify it in that they had many in on 911 attacks.

The whole issue is this: The US is sick of not being able to resolve the issue between Israel and public opinion of
the world. The Arab extremists are clear in that they want
to destroy Israel. Their plan was to humiliate the US
so we no longer support Israel. The US plan was to overthrow the extremist states that support Hamas and Al Quida and hopefully create an environment that Israel
and Palestinians can reach an agreement.

I really doubt that many critics of the war believe it is about oil. Many are against Israel and do not want to
admit it publicly.
