T, then there's always land.
Worst case you can get everything from it -
food(grow it/milk it), shelter(cut it), clothing (ah, avoid poison ivy),
and most essentially water. Thus the importance of <Got Skills?>
(makes you wonder why they've been dumbing America down -
reality shows excepted of course - ask for another raise Ozzie).
It's also much more fulfilling to view than a monthly statement. Of
course using the street's paper would probably be more comfortable
than wiping with leaves, but leaves are considerably cheaper than
their "blue chip" paper <g>, and their lessons - ouch!

If you're lucky, the land may also contain the ONLY currency that's ever
lasted as a store of value throughout time. Yes, our constitutionally
required precious metals required to back our guarantee/paper promise.

Goldman has bailed on our/their system. Interesting they're going to China.
