Davis called Ken Lay for advice how to fix the energy crisis at its height. Since Ken Lay was a good patriotic American you'd think he would have told Davis the truth to save California's hospitals, schools, etc.

But no, Lay told Davis to expect higher and higher energy prices and cut a big deal fast. Since not a single politician except perhaps Cheney understood the byzantine ripoff scheme, Davis was not only mugged but stabbed in the back repeatedly by these crooks.

The phony energy crisis gougings continued, urged on by Bush-Cheney, until Jeffords switched parties and - opps - the Bushbies realizes the DEmocrats suddenly had subpoena powers (can you say Watergate times 1000?) The energyc risis suddenly "ended" and we had a huge energy surplus the very next week. Strange huh? Now quit defending the crooks and attacking the victims, Take responsibility and quit being a hypocrite. Shame on you for defending then biggest crooks in history. They cost us as much as the entire price of the Iraq War. Assuming the war ends any time soon. And they didn't just screw California but every other state too.
